Sayings In The Gospel Books
Part I

  1. Fulfill All Righteousness
  2. But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Matthew 3:15
In all situations, fulfill all righteousness. This is good, and is more pleasing to the Lord than the tricks of the smart ones. Always follow due process. Righteousness consists of the laws and prophecy, where the laws are the commandments, statutes and precepts, and prophecy comprise the teachings and words of the prophets and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. For the Holy Spirit is the spirit of righteousness, the spirit of holinesss, the spirit of Truth and the spirit of prophecy. No one can inherit the kingdom without any of these four but the same spirit.

  3. The Word Of God Is Food
  4. But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'" Matthew 4:4
For the word that comes from the mouth of God is like bread made of semi-solid mix of milk and honey. It is pleasant and satisfying, and is more enriching than ordinary food. Blessed are the Prophets, for they are always feasting on this delicious and nourishing food. No wonder Jesus told His disciples that He has a food to eat which they do not know, and that food is to do the will of the Almighty.

Prophet Ezekiel bears witness that the Word of God is food :
1 Moreover He said to me, "Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel." 2 So I opened my mouth, and He caused me to eat that scroll.
3 And He said to me, "Son of man, feed your belly, and fill your stomach with this scroll that I give you." So I ate, and it was in my mouth like honey in sweetness. Ezekiel 3: 1-3

  5. Do Not Tempt The Lord
  6. Jesus said to him, "It is written again, 'You shall not tempt the LORD your God.'" Matthew 4:7
You tempt the Lord by every form of indecency and by every act of lawlessness. However, the Lord is not moved. It is the tempter that is deceived.

  7. Worship The Lord Only
  8. Then Jesus said to him, "Away with you, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.'" Matthew 4:10
You do not need to worship other gods in order to go to their abodes. In spirit, you move by intention and attention. Just decide where you want to be, and you are there. That is motion at will.
Whatever occupies your heart in place of God is an idol and must be rejected. Even Virgin Mary, Saints and statues are not allowed in the true worship of God. That is why God says you shall seek and find Him when you seek Him with all your heart. Those who are prone to Mary, Saints and statues, are not yet ready to give God all their hearts.

  9. The Kingdom Is At Hand
  10. From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matthew 4:17
We are always in the kingdom. It is only the spiritually ignorant man that do not know how to enter the kingdom. To enter the kingdom, seek self-knowledge, engage in selflessness, devotion, meditation, study of the scriptures, glory in the Lord, live a righteous life, etc.

  11. Fishers Of Men
  12. Then He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." Matthew 4:19
This is the noblest duty and greatest service, and everyone can do it wherever he finds himself. Let the word of God be on your mouth from time to time. But whosoever that wants to be a worthy teacher must first learn from somebody who actually knows the Truth. The website, www.DivineBase.com, is a golden opportunity for you to know the Truth.

  13. The Beatitudes
  14. Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Rejoice, Oh Children of God, for what you lost has been restored to you.
For details and more see Explanations Of The Sermon On The Mount

  15. Be Wise In Seeking
  16. “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. ” Matthew 7:7-9
Every wise man would use the little light he has to get more light. Let the earnest seeker continue to seek until he finds.

  17. God Is Willing
  18. 2 And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."
3 Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Matthew 8:2-3
Many hold the view that suffering is compulsory before a person can enter the kingdom. Suffering may be good, but not compulsory. No parent sends his children to a boarding school without enough food. If parents who may be evil so much love their children that they provide enough for the children, will not the Heavenly Father who is all love not provide in abundance? For the world is God's own school, and He cares more than enough. God is willing and ready to attend to the needs of humanity, but majority would not allow Him. They prefer to over labour themselves, whereas those who trust in the Lord have more than enough.

  19. As A Testimony
  20. And Jesus said to him, "See that you tell no one; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them." Matthew 8:4
No wise king would make a law and go on to disobey the same. The best leaders are those who lead by example. By the above statement, Jesus emphasized the importance of the Laws of Moses.

  21. Always Be Ready And Willing
  22. Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, saying, "Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented." And Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him." Matthew 8:5-7
Always be ready and willing to attend to the needs of others, not minding your status. This is love. For every one first seeks and accepts what he needs, before he would consider and accept what he has at present no need of.

  23. Let No One Delay Or Mislead You.
  24. The centurion answered and said, "Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, "Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you." And his servant was healed that same hour. Matthew 8:8-13
This is exactly what is happening today. Many follow the wrong ways and over labour themselves in their search for the kingdom, whereas many are already seating inside the banquet hall and feasting on the delicious dishes. Blessed is he who investigates all things and then chooses the right ones, for this is better than to remain in the wrong place and perish forever.

  25. But The Son Of Man Has Nowhere To Lay His Head
  26. And when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side. Then a certain scribe came and said to Him, "Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go." And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head." Matthew 8:18-20
The true saint has little or no sense of ego (self). He lives not to do his own will, but to do the will of God. Renunciation is the highest form of devotion. In this world of gross matter, you are bound to what you have. In spirit, those who do not concern themselves with possessions are like a bird that freely flies about. They easily ascend to the brighter regions of heaven. Again, all should not rush into practising renunciation, for there are stages in qualification. It is not everybody that can comfortably practise renunciation, just as it is not every environment that encourages it. In whatever situation you find yourself, treat earthly possessions as what they are - a temporary state of illusion that is necessary for a while.

  27. Let The Dead Bury Their Own Dead
  28. Then another of His disciples said to Him, "Lord, let me first go and bury my father." But Jesus said to him, "Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead." Matthew 8:21-22
Those who are call to the ministry of God must learn to do God's work whenever and wherever there is opportunity to do so, and not as and when they like. For the opportunity to save a soul may not be available again.
Besides, those who consider themselves as living should know that any person who is not living in spirit and in truth is already dead. He is blind, deaf, dumb, lame and paralyzed.

'Let the dead to bury their own dead' is best explained by the parable of the ignorant man.

    The ignorant man
         Walked into the fold
         Of his enemies.
    And
    The enemies
         Tied up his hands.
         And chained his feet.

    Then
         They blindfolded him.
         And made him dumb.

When they have put the man
         In bondage,
         They said to him,
         “We are your friends.”
Yet, the man did not know
That he is in the enemies’ camp.

Explanations Of The Parable Of The Ignorant Man
    1. The man is ignorant because he does not have spiritual knowledge and wisdom.
    2. They tied up his hands because they prevent him from using his spiritual powers. He does not even know that he has great spiritual powers. They deprived him of the powers of anointing, healing, deliverance, etc.
    3. They tied up his legs because they prevent him from going to places where he can find God and discover himself.
    4. They blindfolded him by blocking his spirit of vision, prophecy, dream, trance, oracle, etc.
    5. They made him dumb because he no longer teaches the Truth. He keeps himself busy teaching man-made doctrines in place of God’s commandments.
    6. They put him in bondage, because he is spiritually stagnant and complacent, without knowing it.
    7. They said to him, “We are your friends,” by calling him ‘Reverend,’ ‘Man of God,’ ‘Saint’ or ‘A good man.’
    8. Yet, the man did not know that he is in the enemies’ camp, because he continues to ignore the Truth about life. He does not know the Truth about God, and cannot distinguish between things of God and things of darkness.
    9. The man is like a soldier in search of his enemy. He took with him heavy weapons. Everyday, he went about searching for his enemy, without knowing that he is already inside the belly of his enemy. Such is the predicament of the teeming ignorant humanity.

Besides, majority of mankind are dead in spirit, without knowing it. That is both disappointing and terrible. That is also why I say that everybody - including the religious leaders - have to study Spiritual Science.

  29. No Need To Be Fearful
  30. But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Matthew 8:26
God has no need of your fears. Fear is man-made. In spirit, fear is like a poison that destroys the person who has it. In the presence of God, there is no fear, no doubt, no error, no fault and no sin. Truly, a spirit who knows what he is cannot be intimidated with fear. Even the evil spirits continue to do evil because it is their nature to do evil. And they do not fear hell fire. If the evil ones do not fear the place of torment, because they lack understanding, why should you fear in the kingdom of love and peace.

  31. Cast Out The Evil Spirit
  32. And He said to them, "Go." So when they had come out, they went into the herd of swine. And suddenly the whole herd of swine ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and perished in the water. Matthew 8:32
You have the power and authority to cast out evil spirits. But you must first be living a righteous life. It is not you who should fear the evi spirits. Instead, it is the evil spirits that should and would fear you. Darkness never casts out light. It is the light that casts out darkness. Darkness flees from the presence of light.

  33. Cause Of Sickness
  34. He said to the paralytic, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Matthew 9:2
The cause of every form of sickness is sin. Sin invites the evil spirit, and the evil spirit manifests as sickness. Cast out the evil spirit or forgive the sin and the evil spirit would flee away. Let those who are healed or delivered be wiser by serving others.

  35. We Are The Sons Of God
  36. But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts? For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Arise and walk'? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins" Matthew 9:4-6
And it is yourself who is that son of God. So, why marvel? You marvel because you have not known the Truth. That is why you must turn to the spirit and prophecy. God never created weaklings as human beings. He made us bright, glorious and mighty spirit beings in the flesh garments (gross matter). We are the sons of God.

  37. Follow Me
  38. And He said to him, "Follow Me." So he arose and followed Him. Matthew 9:9
Truth is always asking you to follow Him, for there is nothing better or greater than Truth. And whoever that wants to find the Truth must by-pass religion, culture and public opinions. No one ever finds the Truth by shying away from it.

  39. I Desire Mercy And Not Sacrifice
  40. When Jesus heard that, He said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice.' For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance." Matthew 9:12-13
You have been asked to work for the welfare of others, and not to demand payment. "Do everything possible to rescue whoever that is in trouble," says the Lord. This is the Father's love, and also His demand and delight.

  41. Fasting Is Man-made
  42. Then the disciples of John came to Him, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but Your disciples do not fast?"
And Jesus said to them, "Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast. Matthew 9:14-15
It was man who introduced fasting. Truly, God is ready to answer your prayers even without your fasting. Abraham did not fast before God delivered his wife from the Egyptians. The Israelites did not fast before God divided the Red Sea for them to pass on foot. All He demands from you is righteousness and loving-kindness to others.

  43. A New Faith Needs A New Set Of Advocates.
  44. No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and the tear is made worse. Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved." Matthew 9:16-17
If you entrust new teachings into the hands of old ministers, it is likely that they would conceal the new teachings and continue with their old way of doing things, which has become their habit and routine. And this is exactly what has been happening, for God has sent so many books and reformations into the world to guide humanity, but those in positions of authorities would not allow such books and reformations see the light of the day. They hide the books from the eyes of the public, suppress reformations and prefer to be misleading the ignorant majority.

  45. Your Faith Has Made You Well
  46. But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, "Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well." Matthew 9:22
Faith is the knowledge of the Truth, and abiding by the Truth. It is the acceptance of Truth. For it is only Truth that is faithful. Without Truth, faith is false belief.

  47. There Is No Death
  48. He said to them, "Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping." Matthew 9:24
What we call death is not death, for death is not the end of life and birth is not the beginning of life. Life is everlasting.

  49. Only Believe
  50. And Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" Matthew 9:28
Only believe, and God will do it. For God has destined His children to delight in rest, trust and pleasure, and not suffer labour.
It is good to believe. But it is a disgrace to be in ignorant believer. You have to know the truth.
Before, I believed what I heard. Now, I know the Truth. Also, I bear witness for the Truth, which is a Wonder, Wonderful and the Wonder of All Wonders.

  51. According To Your Faith
  52. Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you." Matthew 9:29-30
Strive to prove yourself responsible in this life, for in heaven, God is ready and willing to give chains of responsibilities to whoever that is ready and willing to do good work. You are happy because I have called you sons of God. You do well. Also, understand that the Angel is greater than the son. The son is a son indeed. However, the Angel is a son with responsibilities on his shoulder.

  53. Beware Of Show Off
  54. And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, "See that no one knows it." Matthew 9:30-31
Learn to perform your duties without attracting public attention unnecessarily to yourself. Do everything as a service offering to God. That is why you are a living sacrifice.

  55. Pray For More Labourers
  56. Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." Matthew 9:37-38
You should not only pray for more labourers. Pray also for those ministers who know in spirit and in truth, for many good teachings have been turned upside down, and many reverend ministers hold sway over the ignorant population, without knowing the right things to do.

  57. Remember The Sabbath Day
  58. Your Bible tells me that God said, "Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy." Exodus 20:8 You do well to record it so. When you keep the Sabbath Day holy, you attain the first level.
God used the word 'Remember' because He foreknew that times shall come when ignorant religous leaders shall claim that Old Testament is no longer relevant.
Today, I say to you, "Always remember to keep the Holy Sabbath, everyday." For in the heavens, all keep the Holy Sabbath everyday. That is everlasting peace and rest, being calmly active and actively calm.
You keep the Holy Sabbath everyday by:
    • Being calmly active and actively calm.
    • Maintaining your peace of mind.
    • Maintaining your poise - spiritual balance, equilibrium, level-headedness.
    • Avoiding evil thoughts, vulgar words and wrong actions.
    • Remembering God while doing all your works.
    • Avoiding the cares and worries of everyday life.
    • Trusting in God. "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." Isaiah 26:3 Quote or say this statement whenever you are worried, tensed up, under stress, in strain, disturbed, disappointed, depressed, fearful, anxious or confused.
    • Being joyful. The joy of the Lord is your strength.
    • Freeing your mind, soul and spirit from regrets, grudges and agony by forgiving your offenders.
    • Observing quiet times. Learn to relax and to rest. Avoid unnecessary hurry.
    • Recognizing and responding to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
    • Avoiding noise, even the loud, booming and bombarding music.
    • Rendering all services without expecting rewards, without expecting thanks, without being persuaded or forced and without complaining.
    • Engaging in acts of selflessness, by first attending to the needs of others.
    • Performing all duty as service offering to God.

  59. Recognize And Respond To The Holy Spirit.
  60. These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: "Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Matthew 10:5-7
Every true minister must work according to the directives of the Holy Spirit, and not as he likes or thinks. Religious heads should train junior ministers to recognize and respond to the Holy Spirit. Any training without this is like a basket full of chaffs, without any corns in it.

  61. Give Freely.
  62. Freely you have received, freely give. Matthew 10:8-9
So many ministers of God are today neglecting this command. And many spoil their good records with excessive fees.
Selflessness is a key that opens the gate of heaven to the pilgrim. Renunciation is the highest form of devotion. By renouncing, you set yourself free from the trappings of the world. And at death, you happily swing up, heavenwards, and cannot be trapped by the wold of gross matter. Renunciation also means total dependence on God. This is faith and it is worthwhile.

  63. Do Not Worry About Your Needs.
  64. Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food. Matthew 10:9-10
Along the way you pass through, God will provide the things you need.

  65. Sharp Division.
  66. And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Day of Judgment than for that city! Matthew 10:14-15
There is a sharp division between those who do good and those who do bad, and between those accept salvation and those who reject the same. There is no sitting on the fence. You must belong to one side or be counted among the enemies.

  67. Be Wise And Innocent.
  68. "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:16
Also, and truly, you must be as explorative as a bee and as rich as honey, if you want to succeed in the ministry. For out of wisdom, the bee travels to distant places to collect nectars from different flowering plants. Then, it combines the nectars to make honey, which gives the sweetest taste. Indeed, you shall be amazed when you know the truth, and reading one holy book is not enough. "You must be educated because the world you are going to meet are learned," says the Almighty. It is better to investigate all things, and then choose the right ones, than to remain in the wrong place and perish forever.

  69. The Lord Is With You.
  70. But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you. Matthew 10:19-20

"Listen to Me, O house of Jacob,
And all the remnant of the house of Israel,
Who have been upheld by Me from birth,
Who have been carried from the womb:
Even to your old age (when all hopes are lost), I am He,
And even to gray hairs (and in the council of the wise) I will carry (and vindicate) you!
    I have made, and I will bear;
Even I will carry, and will deliver you.
    Isaiah 46:3-4

  71. All Because Of Ignorance.
  72. "Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. Matthew 10:21-22
It is not the Lord's will that one should rise against another. This became possible because mankind were blind. When they know better, they shall tolerate one another. This is happening today due to democracy and freedom of worship.

  73. Test Proves The Worthy Ones.
  74. But he who endures to the end will be saved. Matthew 10:22-23
The journey is indeed long and diverse. For the ancient serpent made it so. Before, God gave His kingdom free to all, until Devil introduced sin. For no one is said to have qualified except he takes and passes examination.
However, righteousness and salvation belong to God, for no one can do good without the Holy Spirit, and no one can save himself just as a dirty clothe cannot wash itself clean. and "I pray the Lord of Salvation to save all humanity by His precious blood, and I immerse them all here and now in the ocean of the blood of the lamb, for many do not know their right hand from their left hand, and many who earnestly seek God neither know the way nor have good teachers to lead them. Oh Merciful Father, hear my prayer in Jesus' name."

  75. Save Your Life, But Do Not Deny The Truth.
  76. When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes. Matthew 10:23
This is a good and clear safety approach.

  77. It Is Enough For A Disciple That He Be Like His Teacher.
  78. "A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. 25 It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. Matthew 10:24-25
It is enough to be exalted. Likewise, it is greatness, to be humble and simple.

  79. A Saint Does Not Receive Insults.
  80. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household! Therefore do not fear them. Matthew 10:25-26
Do not receive insults. Do not let them bother you. An unreceived gift returns to the sender.

  81. Light Uncovers What Is In The Dark.
  82. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known. Matthew 10:26
"Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. Matthew 10:27
God is spirit. Spirit is light and light is fire, even a consuming fire. It is the nature of fire (as a trinity of heat, flame and light) to uncover whatever that is in darkness. Whatever fire as flame cannot touch, it as light reaches, and whatever light cannot reach, it as heat overtakes. Flash a light into the dark place, and it will show you everything, each as it is, without fear or favour, and without concealing anything from you. So is the Holy Spirit.
The Lord is a Consuming Fire: The Trinity of Heat, Flame and Light.

  83. Do Not Fear.
  84. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Matthew 10:28-31
In every situation, do what God says. This is life everlasting and it is Truth.

  85. It Is Glorious To Say The Truth.
  86. "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33
Blessed are those who know the Truth. However, double-blessed are they who know the Truth and do not fear; and triple-blessed are they who know and speak the Truth without fear.

    With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful;
    With a blameless man You will show Yourself blameless;
    With the pure You will show Yourself pure;
And with the devious You will show Yourself shrewd.
For You will save the humble people,
But will bring down haughty looks.
    Psalms 18:25-27

  87. Set Truth Above Religions And Churches.
  88. "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to 'set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law'; and 'a man's enemies will be those of his own household.' He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. Matthew 10:34-38
The religions are the different shades of the same Truth. Therefore, rise above religions and churches to enter the kingdom.

  89. Take Your Cross And Stand For the Truth.
  90. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. Matthew 10:38-39
Be selfless in all your engagements. Do all things without expecting thanks, without expecting praises, without being persuaded or forced. Indeed, majority have not understand this commandment, and they entangle themselves in the world of gross matter, and therefore cannot ascend to the heavens. Seven times, I say to you, perform all your duties as service offering to God, and you shall have great rewards in heaven. Be sure to accomplish the task for which God sent you to the world, lest on the Day of Judgment you be found wanting.

  91. Become Wiser.
  92. "He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward." Matthew 10:40-42
Always remember that it is the same Holy Spirit that is everywhere as omnipresent.

  93. Recognize The Good Ministers By Their Good Works.
  94. "Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me." Matthew 11:4-6
Whoever does the work of a doctor is considered a doctor. Likewise, the person who does the work of a lawyer is accepted as a lawyer. The works of Jesus bear evidence that He is the Messiah.

  95. John The Baptist Is A Prophet Of God.
  96. "What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft garments? Indeed, those who wear soft clothing are in kings' houses. But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet. For this is he of whom it is written:

"Behold, I send My messenger before Your face,
Who will prepare Your way before You.'

"Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

"But to what shall I liken this generation? It is like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling to their companions, and saying:

'We played the flute for you,
    And you did not dance;
    We mourned to you,
    And you did not lament.'

For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, 'He has a demon.' The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!' But wisdom is justified by her children." Matthew 11:17-19
From the days of John the Baptist, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. Worse still, the blind (ignorant) leaders mislead teeming multitudes away from the gate of heaven into the hell fire.

  97. Woe To Unbelievers.
  98. "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the Day of Judgment than for you. And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades; for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the Day of Judgment than for you." Matthew 11:20-24
Those who reject the Truth, reject life. This is terrible and horrible. Yet, the worldly do not know it.

  99. Thank You, Father.
  100. "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. Matthew 11:25-27
If you love the Lord, you must do what he wants. You please a friend by doing what he likes. Become friends of God, in spirit and in truth.
